  • January 2019 - With the full backing of PathFinders’ Board, team and key donors, Kay stepped down from her role as CEO to focus on establishing an independent not-for-profit entity that could support PathFinders' legally underserved clients, and offer the same services to other charities and community partners in Hong Kong

  • September 2019 - PathFinders’ Board formally approved the separation and transition of the justice work out of PathFinders and into a newly created not-for-profit legal entity

  • December 2019 - Equal Justice Limited平義社有限公司 was incorporated in Hong Kong

  • July 2020 - Equal Justice 平義社 launches in Hong Kong, with support from a core team of experienced advisors and skilled volunteers. PathFinders’ justice work, clients and ongoing research were successfully transitioned across
