Our Latest Financial Statement
Equal Justice 平義社 has been independently audited each year since incorporation. We are pleased to be able to present audited financial statements for the years ending 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
HEADLINES
RECURRING FUNDING 2025 was our most successful fundraising year with the securing of two significant multi-year grants worth HK$4.4M, which allowed us to focus on strategically developing our Legal First Aid service offering, which continues to see double digit increase in demand year on year while also securing the continuity of our legal programme offering.
DIVERSIFIED FUNDING In 2025, our total income was HK$4.3M largely comprising Grants from Foundations and Trusts. Our programme expenses totalled HK$3.5M, enabling us to focus on reducing hardship and poverty by providing holistic and innovative solutions to bridge Hong Kong’s legal access poverty gaps.
ABOUT 2025 Through the generous contributions of individuals, organisations and foundations and considerable financial governance, we have met our clients’ needs and ended 2025 with a surplus of over HK$1.5M to be carried forward to 2026.
2026 OUTLOOK Our financial outlook for 2026 is positive at the time of writing and aligns with our continuing strategic mandate of 'People First; Managing Growth'.
2027 AND BEYOND We are working hard to build our funding pipeline, and unrestricted reserves, to take us into 2027, and beyond.
