The people we help have complex and often urgent legal problems in immigration and identity, employment and discrimination, family law, child protection and adoption, crime, and health. Working closely with other NGOs and community groups, we are able to provide holistic support that enables people find practical, long term solutions

Too scared to tell her employer that she was pregnant, Faye* gave birth alone at her employer’s home. It was not until the following day that Faye sought help and was sent to hospital where the police were called. Equal Justice works towards collaborating with new community partners to expand our service points across the wider Hong Kong community. Our case managers and legal partners will be able to help more people across more sections of society and build consensus towards systemic justice change with the ultimate goal of achieving SDG Target 16.3​
